Since we may be moving to JAPAN this summer, we thought that it was finally time to start seeing some of the things that DC has to offer. I've been here before, through a high school trip, and saw most things, but our family hasn't seen anything - just monuments out the car window. Seeking to remedy this, we took a trip into the city for President's Day and went to the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum. We decided to REALLY make the most of it, and take the Metro. Our kids were so impressed...
We even tricked convinced some friends to join us. Thanks Near Family!
After the excitement of the Metro, our kids were a little underwhelmed by the museum, but we perservered!
The Highlights:
Our family in thermo-imaging. Ash and Lills learing to fly.
And what do you know? We got to ride the trains home in another snowstorm! Fun stuff.
