Andy has been out of town frequently lately, so I've tried to find fun, easy things to do with the kids to make the time pass quickly.
Every couple of months Cayden and Ashton's school has a Family Movie Night on a Friday. You pay $2 per family, bring chairs and blankets and watch a family movie. We hadn't been able to go until Andy was in San Antonio at the end of April and the school showed The Princess and The Frog.
I'd already taken the older girls to see it when it was in the theaters, but Cayden hadn't seen it yet, so they were all excited to go.
We got everyone in their pajammies, loaded up the chairs and walked down the street to the school.
The kids were all fascinated. Even Cayden enjoyed himself, despite the Princess movie.
The PTCO sold snacks, also.
Of course we had to get our popcorn and drinks.
The cafeteria was a little crowded,
and the screen was small, but we all had fun and will probably do it again.
