So big and full that we don't get any sunlight AT ALL in the front of the house.
Which is great for our A/C bill in the summer, but not so good for the grass in our front yard.
When we moved in the grass was pretty sparse, so Andy bought some seed and tried to get it to grow. Which it did, a tiny bit.
So we tried again, in the Spring. It started growing really well, until all the leaves burst out of the tree limbs and blocked the sunlight again. Then it all died.
So Andy has been trying to trim off the tree himself.
He enjoyed climbing up into the tree, and seeing how high he could go.
Pretty high. The tree towers, with huge, thick branches, over the roof of our house.
Mason was nervous.
The whole time Andy was up there, she was calling to him (yelling, more like),
"Daddy! Get down!"
"Don't fall!"
Nothing like your almost-two-year-old daughter to give you safety advice.
Cayden was jealous. He wanted up too.
Andy's decided that the job is to much for him, and we'll have to get someone to professionally do it.
Maybe we'll have grass next year.
