Cousins

Our kids have missed their cousins so much since we moved to Virginia.
We went from living across the street from them, and multiple daily interactions and fun, to seeing them maybe once a year.

Military life is so sad, sometimes...

When we proposed our trip back to Mississippi to visit with Marcie and the girls and meet baby Colter, our kids were so happy!

We were only there for 4 days, but the kids definitely made up for lost time.  I thought there might be some shyness and awkwardness when they first saw each other, but nope, it was like we had never left.

Just the way it ought to be!

The kids played at parks,
blew bubbles,
rode bikes,
and scooters,
made huge messes of toys,
drew,
went to Chuck E Cheeses,
watched movies
and went to Seabee Days to play some more.

Andy even put all 8 kids to bed one night and let Marcie and I go see a movie.
It was quite a bunch of kids!

We sure had a good time, and were so happy to have the chance to visit!
